MAR FRC Teams Competing at the Region Championship: We are pleased to announce that there are two reduced-price outdoor parking lots ($6.00 per day) for teams that wish to avoid the $14.00 per day garage parking adjacent to the Liacouras Center. Area 8 ( south side of Cecil B. Moore Ave between 11th and 12th Sts., larger) and Area 9 (north side of CB Moore Ave. between 12th and 13th Sts, smaller) can accommodate larger vehicles and trailers and are a 5-7 minute walk (3-4 blocks) to the main entrance of Liacouras Center -see attached map.

The entrance to the load-in area for Wednesday evening and Thursday morning in indicated by a red arrow on the second map attached. Be prepared to drop off your load-in team and offload your equipment quickly so that the driver of your vehicle can depart and make room for the next vehicle in line. There will be volunteers keeping an eye on your belongings in the loading area as you SAFELY ferry them into the pit area.
A practice field similar to those used at District events will be available when pits open Thursday morning. MAR and field technical personnel will monitor the readiness of the official field and teams with a goal of starting practice rounds on the competition field as soon as possible. Listen for pit announcements regarding the opening of practice rounds.
